51 new cases of Coronavirus has been recorded in Jigawa state as confirmed by the state’s Commissioner of Health, Dr Abba Zakari.
Dr Abba Zakari told Channels Television that the new cases brings the total number of confirmed cases in Jigawa to 169.
He said among the new cases are 31 almajiris who were sent from Kano state. The almajiris account for 56 percent of the total log of cases recorded in the state.
Zakari further revealed that the state will soon commence Coronavirus testing, as they’ve procured the equipment and have decided to use the Dutse General hospital’s laboratory for that purpose.
