After Bola Tinubu’s Age Was Edited 84 Times, Wikipedia Locks It For ‘Persistent Vandalism’

Bola Tinubu’s page on Wikipedia page has been locked after his age was allegedly edited 84 times.

This comes after outrages was sparked on social media during the celebrating of the 69th birthday of the National Leader of the APC on Monday, March 29. According to reports, a number of accounts trailed down Tinubu’s Wikipedia’s page to change his age from 69 to 79 after social media users claimed that he is way older than the age he celebrated.

It was gathered from The Cable that Tinubu’s page was created by Girth Summit, a Scottish Wikipedia editor who has worked on articles from more than 20 countries. His sole reason for blocking edit on Tinubu’s page is ‘persistent vandalism’.

According to reports, there were 84 edits on Tinubu’s Wikipedia page and most of them were on the birthday section.
