COVID-19 patients who are being isolated at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Gombe this afternoon staged a protest over claims of lack of food and medical attention.
This protest comes days after a similar incident happened at the Kwadom Isolation Centre in Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area of the state.
The state police command spokesperson, SP Mary Malum, who confirmed this new development to LIB, said the situation has been brought under control and the protesting patients have been returned to the isolation center.
”The issue has been brought under control. They have been taken back to Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe. They have been returned back” she said
