Popular Nigerian artist, Grammy award-winning artist, and African Giant Burna Boy has his achievements backing up his music career each day.
It would be recalled that Burna Boy released a new track weeks after he won a grammy award. Burna Boy made Nigeria and Africa proud after he won the Best Global music with his Album “Twice As Tall” a few weeks ago. A few weeks after his award, he released his new track titled “Kilometre”.
The song which was produced by chopstix has now debuted at 14 on Billboard’s digital song sales chart. This is the 9th solo project on the worldwide chart which makes him the highest for Nigerian music alongside popular artist Davido.
The World Digital Song Sales chart is a weekly record chart compiled by Nielsen SoundScan and published by Billboard magazine. Most Nigerians have reacted to the news and have hailed Burna Boy for his hard work.
In another news, the mother and manager of Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy, Bose Ogulu has disclosed in a recent interview that the Rivers State Government did not give any money to his son.
During the interview with Ebuka, Bose Ogulu, mother of Burna Boy has disclosed that her son was only honoured because of his achievement and couldn’t disrespect the Rivers State by turning down such an honour. She also debunked rumors that Burna Boy was given money as it was rumored.
