Paris Saint-Germain manager, Thomas Tuchel, has confirmed that five key players will miss his side’s Champions League group stage clash against Manchester United on Tuesday night.
The five players are Marco Verratti, Mauro Icardi, Leandro Paredes, Thilo Kehrer and Juan Bernat.
Tuchel stated this on Monday at his pre-match press conference.
Tuchel’s side head to the game after defeating Nimes 4-0 in the Ligue 1 last Friday.
Tuchel said: “Marquinhos and Julian Draxler will train with the squad this Monday afternoon and I hope that they will be able to play on Tuesday.
“I am confident. Marco Verratti, Mauro Icardi and Leandro Paredes, Thilo Kehrer and Juan Bernat won’t be available.”The kick-off time for the match is 8 pm, Nigerian time.
