Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, thinks the club should sell Paul Pogba, according to The Athletic.
Solskjaer wants the board to get a buyer for the 27-year-old and replace him with a player who wants to be at Old Trafford.
Pogba’s future at Old Trafford is once again the subject of speculation, after his agent, Mino Raiola, claimed the player is unhappy at Old Trafford. https://dailypost.ng/2020/12/07/champions-league-his-time-at-man-utd-is-over-pogbas-agent-claims-midfielder-will-leave/
Raiola also said the World Cup winner’s time at the Premier League club is “over”.
Real Madrid has expressed interest in signing Pogba in the past and Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer. But the LaLiga club is unwilling to match United’s £150million valuation.
However, Solskjaer believes United should approve a deal for Pogba, as he wants players who are committed to the club.
It is also understood that there is “deep frustration, bordering on anger” from people at United over the timing of Raiola’s comments, which came on the eve of the club’s crucial Champions League clash against RB Leipzig on Tuesday.
Solskjaer is even now under pressure to drop Pogba from the team.
