‘Criminal Herdsmen Are Being Tried & Convicted Across Nigeria’ – Presidency Reveals

The Presidency has revealed that all herdsmen who have been arrested after engaging in illegal activities are facing the full wrath of the law.

This was revealed by the presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu in a recent submission he made on Channels TV.

This comes after the president was criticised for letting activities of herders slide because he is of the same ethnicity as them.

In his submission, he said;

“I hope that the police will take responsibility and publish the full list of Fulani herders who are undergoing trial in various states, particularly in Benue State.

Trials are going on, convictions are being made and the President cannot be complicit in the kind of things that are being said of him.”
