NYSC Latest News Update Portal: Corps Members have been advised to always be attentive in every environment they find themselves as no one knows where their succor could come from.
The advice was given by NYSC State Coordinator for Cross River, Alhaji Mohammed Nakamba when he flagged off lecture series on camp for the 2020 Batch ‘B’, Stream II Orientation Course which is currently going on at the state’s NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Obubra.
He encouraged them to pay critical attention to all the lecture series as they are not just to guide them during the service year but throughout their entire life. “The lectures have been organized in a way that will enrich your intellect as capable resource persons will be coming to educate you on various aspects of life.
“You are expected to be in the lecture hall at every lecture time, and you’re also expected to observe COVID-19 protocols even in the lecture hall. The lectures will guide you and give you the needed orientation to excel. Please take it seriously”, the Coordinator advised.
Meanwhile, Camp head of lectures, Mr Ede Ezekiel gave an in depth overview of the NYSC scheme as a way of intimating the Corps Members with the ideals and tenets of the scheme.
He reminded them on the essence of the scheme which is for national unity and integration, charging them to always remain good ambassadors of the NYSC.
