Ekiti governor, Fayemi tests negative for COVID-19 after 11 days 

The Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi has recovered from COVID-19.

Fayemi announced his recovery from the virus on Saturday in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle.

The governor disclosed that he has been down with COVID-19 for about 11 days.

“After 11 days in isolation, I received news that my CoviD 19 repeat test came back negative. My sincere gratitude goes to God Almighty, my family, my medical team and all well-wishers for the prayers and solidarity. We must continue to do all we can to tackle the pandemic. JKF,” he tweeted.

NAIJARAY had reported that Fayemi had on July 22 tested positive for COVID-19

Following the test, the governor immediately went into self isolation as required.
