El-Rufai govt updates on COVID-19 status of discharged Almajiris 

Kaduna State Government has disclosed that 35 more COVID-19 patients have been discharged in the state.

The state government disclosed that the discharged patients were all Almajiris who have now tested negative for the virus.

In a tweet, the state government said with this development, it now has 47 active COVID-19 cases.

“KADUNA UPDATE: 35 more patients, all of them Almajiris, have been discharged having tested negative.

“The state now has 47 active COVID-19 cases, having discharged 63 persons and recorded four fatalities, ” it tweeted.

Meanwhile, statistics as at Thursday night indicated that Nigeria currently has a total of 5,162 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

This followed the latest confirmation of 193 deaths by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
