Gov Wike reacts to death of media aide 

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has reacted to the death his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.

Nwakaudu hailed from Abia State.

The Governor expressed shock over the passing of Nwakaudu.

NAIJARAY reported earlier that Nwakaudu suddenly took ill and was rushed to the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) where he was confirmed dead by medical doctors at about 2pm on Saturday

The cause of his death has not been made official but it could be related to cardiac arrest.

Wike, in a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim, described late Nwakaudu, as a “loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of The New Rivers Vision.”

The governor in the statement, condoled with Nwakaudu’s family and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss
