The free medical centre according to Mr. Owolabi, was initiated by the umbrella union for the ancient town as health care intervention to support the state government in the treatment of people with high blood pressure and diabetes. He showered encomiums on Engineer Olanrewaju Adeleke and other well meaning indigenes of Ileogbo for their support to put the Medical Centre in place.
In his good will message, Engineer Adejare Adigun, the caretaker chairman of Ayedire Local government who was a special guest at the occasion, urged the people of Ileogbo to cooperate with the benevolent administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, for further dividends of democracy.
In his keynote address, Honourable Justice Jide Falola expressed gratitude to the leadership of Ileogbo Unity Forum for embarking on Ileogbo Medical Centre as a complimentary effort to the state government on health care delivery at the grassroots level.
