IUF President Visits Lanreleke Sports Academy, Ileogbo

The National President of Ileogbo Unity Forum [IUF] Mr Anthony Owolabi has paid a courtesy visit to the newly opened Lanreleke Sports Academy in Ileogbo.

The president, accompanied by dignitaries from the community, said this is a new direction for Ileogbo as the sports academy will project the image and name of the community to the world at large. Describing it as the first of its kind in the country, he said: “What this academy means to us transcends the status of sports academy because this is first of its kind in Nigeria.

Among the dignitaries that accompanied him during the inspection course includes the founder and the chairman of the Academy, Engr Olanrewaju Adeleke, Professor Pade Aderibigbe and Engr. Jare Adigun, the chairman of Ayedire Local Government.

The chairman of the academy, Engr Olanrewaju Adeleke appreciated the people for their love and support towards the opening of the Sports Academy. He reiterated they still need people’s prayers as the facility as at the moment of opening is on 35% completion that: “it is our prayer that within the next 12months, the facility will be on 100%.

The project was said to be about 35% complete at take off with 40 students enrolment and full boarding facility. The chairman, Engr Adeleke said the project will attain 100% completion by this time next year when it will be fully commissioned.

Lanreleke Sports Academy is an over 3-Billion Naira project, situated in Ileogbo, Ayedire Local Government, funded by Peculiar Ultimate Concerns Ltd, with the aim of solving the deficiencies in our national sports.
