Lists Of What Bandit Terrorists Collected From Tegina Parents Revealed

Apart from collecting ransom of at least N50 million, other things bandits took from students and parents of Islamiyya school in Tegina town have been revealed.

Recall that bandit terrorists on Thursday night released the remaining pupils of Islamiyya school in Tegina town who had spent 88 days in the den of their kidnappers.

The students were abducted from the Islamic school on May 30 by bandit terrorists.

However, seventeen of the abducted student had escaped while six others reportedly died in the forest where they were being held.

The bandit terrorist had agreed to release the remaining 116 pupils if the ransom which was reduced from the initial N200 million to N50 million was paid, however, the bandits refused to free the pupils after collecting N50 million ransom contributed by parents and sympathisers.

The terrorists after counting the money had claimed that it was N4.6 million short and detained the conveyor of the ransom, while also holding the pupils.

The parents of the abducted students were contacted to send the N4.6 million balance plus another N2 million short from the initial payment of N20 million, totalling N6.6 million.

The bandit terrorists also requested six brand new Bajaj motorcycles before the pupils would be released

The Head Teacher of the School, Garba Alhassan on Thursday night confirmed that they were released somewhere around Birnin-Gwari Village in Kaduna State.

Sources disclosed that the abductees were released after payment of an additional N18 million ransom and supply of the additional motorcycles demanded by the bandits.

The children would be received by the state government officials, after which they would be taken for thorough medical examination.
