US-based Nigerian musician, Samklef is labelled that current government as ‘Lori iro’ government.
He made these comments in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
Making the post, he wrote;
“Yesterday osibanjo the pastor and Laywer was silence despite the killings in oyo and the arrest of innocent youths @ Lekki toll date..Lori iro Government.
‘LORI IRO’ is an Yoruba phrase which means ‘On top lies’ and in another post, he called out the president.
He was reacting to a post made by presidential spokesperson which reads;
“President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed that his government will protect all religious and ethnic groups, whether majority or minority in line with its responsibility under the constitution.”
He said;
“Lori iro nla. He can’t even protect ur people in the north. Everyday bandits dey kill Dem like Nama Nama.”
