“Nigerian Single Dads Can’t Take Care Of Their Child” – Actress, Adunni Ade

Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has shared her thoughts on single parenting as she shares her experience of how her father raised her single-handedly.

In an exclusive interview with Nigerian media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Adunni Ade revealed that she was thrown around by her father to various family relatives just because he did not have enough money to take care of her upkeep, and her though her father was everything to her, he had less time for her.

The mother of two boldly affirmed that single Nigerian fathers can’t really just take care of their children.

“My dad is my everything. He was doing everything he could to create a name for himself, his business, his work, and I guess, you know…
“I hope I’m not being mean by saying Nigerian men, they can’t really… single father, can’t really just take care of their child, so they have to put the child here and put the child there.”
