According to The Nation, fear has gripped police operatives attached to Achala Division in Anambra State over alleged persistent coughing of a newly posted Divisional Crime Officer (DCO).
It was gathered that the DCO, who was posted to the division two weeks ago, has been coughing, raising suspicion that he may have caught the coronavirus.
A signal from police command headquarters has been sent mandating the officer to subject himself to a test, it was learnt.
The Nation gathered that the signal which came from the police command headquarters followed agitations by junior officers and men at the division who feared they may be at risk should the DCO have the virus.
