Real Madrid striker, Borja Mayoral, has left the club to join AS Roma on loan ahead of the Los Blancos’s La Liga clash with Levante on Sunday.
Mayoral will remain with the Serie A side until June 30, 2022.
Real Madrid disclosed this in a statement through their official website on Friday night.
The statement read: “Real Madrid C. F. and AS Roma have agreed to a loan deal for Borja Mayoral for the next two seasons, until June 30 2022.”
Mayoral did not regularly feature for Real Madrid under manager Zinedine Zidane, during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Spaniard will now hope to play regularly for AS Roma this season and next season.
