In Osun State, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, or SARS, is accused of shooting a civilian while attempting to extort money from him.
According to a report shared on Twitter, the victim, who was driving a saloon car, was shot through the windshield.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, the victim of a cold-blooded murder can be seen being dragged by enraged mobs.
“Is this right ? Nigeria police force ? Ontop how much ? hear this .. today 03 dec 2021 .. SARS official killed someone at otaefun in osogbo osun state Nigeria when trying to extort him.. Help us tell the world they are still killing us.. Pls tell the world we are tired,” the concerned user wrote.
