I celebrate RT.HON.TIMOTHY OWOEYE as he clocks 48 today.
He’s one of the noble and progressive minded politicians who hailed from ijesaland and as a matter of fact he have proven yourself as a politician whose ideology is based on fairness, equity, patriotism and other essential leadership attributes.
It’s crystal to everyone and even to the blind that your administration has recorded series of achievements since the last one year you assume the office of speaker, state of osun house of assembly.
Permit me to make reference to the intervention he made while I was the sitting president of OSCOHEALTH,ILESA and we had a peaceful demonstration to demand the pressing needs of the institution which led to the PASSAGE OF STATE OF OSUN COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY,ILESA ESTABLISHMENT BILL,2020 into law.
I remembered vividly on that faithful day, he told me and other comrades that the house under his leadership will give the bill a fast reading which he did.
“HISTORY WILL NEVER FORGET THE CHILD THAT TURN HIS FATHER’S VILLAGE TO CITY AND THAT SAME HISTORY WILL NEVER FORGET THE CHILD THAT TURN HIS FATHER’S CITY TO VILLAGE.”
I used the above illustration because the said institution is situated in ILESA EAST,the State constituency of Mr speaker he’s representing and we call him “OUR LANDLORD” because of the close proximity of his residential place to the said institution.
I sincerely laud and eulogize him on this credible achievement.
While i congratulate and felicitate with him on his 48th birthday,i want to urge him to use his good office to implore the office of the governor to give the INSTITUTION ESTABLISHMENT bill assent as it will further increase the confidence that the students reposed in the State government.
