A book written in honour of the First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari was held on April 8.
The ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The book was written by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Administration and Women Affairs, Dr. Hajo Sani.
The book is titled, “Aisha Buhari Being Different” and it speaks about the life of the first lady in detail.
Noble personalities flooded the book launch ceremony as the rank and file of important personalities were present to grace the occasion.
The personalities included Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, Dr Patience Jonathan, national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Ooni of Ife, Imperial Majesty, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Sa’ad Abubakar III, wife of former Vice President, Amina Sambo and Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF and Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Muhammadu Indimi, and Jim Ovia.
As prominent individuals were present, several prominent donations where also made. Below is the list of donors and the amount they donated.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu – N20 million
Alhaji Aliko Dangote – N30 million
Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu – N25 million
Mrs Folorunso Alakija – N10 million
Chief Kessington Adebutu – N10 million
Per reports, there are some personalities who indicated their fat envelopes with be sent later.
