Tension in Osogbo as SARS officials allegedly chase suspected yahoo boys to death (PHOTOS)

Tragedy struck in some parts of Osogbo, the capital of the state of Osun, following the reported death of three suspected internet fraudsters on Tuesday evening.

Eyewitnesses told Naijaray that the suspected internet fraudsters died in an accident following a hot chase by SARS officials on Oba Adesoji Aderemi East road.

According to report three of the suspected yahoo boys were said to have died immediately in the accident while the fourth occupant of the car sustained serious injury.

It was gathered that the suspects were being trailed by the police from the Osun Mall.

The incident has brought about a serious uproar and pandemonium in the community as residents were seen protesting and registering their grievances.

The situation has disrupted free flow of traffic around Oke-Fia, Ola-Iya, Alekuwodo, Capital, Odi-Olowo axis.

Angered by the incident, some youths also attacked police vehicle around Alekuwodo area.

Amidst rising tension, the Spokesperson of the police in Osun, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident added that the force is on top of the matter.
