Rising Manchester music act, multi-instrumentalist and producer July 7 has returned to the scene – where he first made a palpable impact with his debut project ‘Sweets’ back in 2018 and a slew of stellar singles – with the release of his new single ‘Slow Motion’.
Released via Mr Eazi’s emPawa Africa, as a part of the emPawa30 campaign the addictive Dëra-produced track offers a slice of cool, Afropop vibes and an early taste of the summer.
Along with its trippy visuals (dir. Alex Coleborn), ‘Slow Motion’ is set to reignite the shock waves July 7 has already caused in the music industry, which saw Dummy praising his ‘highly addictive and sultry brand of Dancehall influenced R&B’ and The Guardian noting his ‘pin-sharp production’.
