The youths in Irepodun amd Boripe local government of Osun State have voiced out and demanded the need for the honourable member representing the constituency at the state House of Assembly, Barr. Femi Popoola to also dedicate his time amd communicate with his people on social media.
In a statement released by the leader of the movement tagged #WeNeedOurLeadersBackOine, Comrade Fatomi Dare to Naijaray, the youths explained the reasons for the Honourable member to start interaction with his constituent on social media.
The statement below.
Solidarity greetings of love and humility to all radical, ideological, sophisticated, ever gallant comrades, stakeholders, leaders, cadres, activists, students & citizens.
The greatest adversary in life is not death, but a life without purpose. If we want a better future, we must create it from our today activities.
A philosopher said and I quote, “To have peace, you need war.” Freedom is not given at will, until it is requested. It is dutiful to a good leader to be accessible & communicable to its followers, to accord love, growth and welfarism of the society.
Hence, we will commence the online protest as earlier announced, in a bid to agitate for an effective means of communication from our leader, Barr. Femi Popoola, the Deputy Speaker at Osun State House of Assembly, our honorable representing Boripe/Boluwaduro State Constituency, after his failure to comply to several request and warnings proposed to him.
We are not thugs, hooligans or community peace disruptor. We are nurtured with spirit and feelings for humanity. We are embedded with the strength to save our land. We are element and tools of truth. We choose the struggle path not for our selfish interest, but because we believe we can have a better society.
We hope Barr. Femi Popoola will turn a new leaf and give a listening hear to the voice of his people. Every man deed is recorded in the historical book of life. Posterity will judge us all accordingly and judiciously.
