Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ is still making giant strides globally and the latest feat it has chalked is equally pheromonal.
The Afrobeat powerhouse, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is now on par with his late compatriot Fela Anikulapo Kuti as far as a billboard chart is concerned.
Made In Lagos album has now equaled Fela’s, ‘The Best Of The Black President’ as the longest-running album on Billboard World Albums Chart, spending a total of 45 weeks on the chart.
Fela has his moment with The Black President compilation which he released in 1999 as a posthumous album. The Best of Fela Kuti is a 2-CD compilation album released by MCA Records. It dropped in the United States in 2000 as part of a reissue series of Kuti’s albums.
Billboard is an American music and entertainment magazine published weekly by the Billboard-Hollywood Reporter Media Group, a division of MRC Media & Info. The magazine provides music charts, news, video, opinion, reviews, events, and style related to the music industry.
Not too long ago, Wizkid was spotted with a mystery lady emerging from a club and most of his female fans are talking very much about it.
Starboy and the mystery lady were chilling in a section of a club when they decided to leave together. As they walked out together, the Nigerian singer firmly held her hand while a fan was heard shouting his name enthusiastically.
A fan of the singer who recorded the video revealed that he also wanted to get into the section of the club where the singer sat.
