A staunch supporter of Arsenal football club, Apostle Suleman has stated that Arsenal’s season is not over after the team lost against Aston Villa to dash their UEFA Europa League qualification hopes.
While giving Mikel Arteta some interesting coaching tips, Suleman however added that their season is not over. Recall that Arsenal over the weekend qualified for the FA Cup finals after beating Manchester City, so they still have hope of a silverware.
“These guys just give somebody headache…well, it’s my typical Arsenal. Days after elevation to such great heights, we need proper investment for next season. The season ain’t over though,” Apostle Suleman tweeted.
In giving Arteta coaching tips, Suleman urged him to work on the timing of his substitution, saying Gunners will fight until the end.
“Arteta really needs to work on his substitution/timing,” Apostle Suleman wrote on Twitter after the 1-1 draw with Leicester City a fortnight ago.
“Red card cost us this game, but then, we fight till the end! We are the Arsenal!…COYG!”
It was a fight to the finish on Tuesday night, July 21, when Arsenal suffered a major setback in their quest to reach next season’s Europa League as they lost 1-0 to Aston Villa.
The hosts scored the only goal of the match in the 27th minute through Trezeguet who hovered towards the far post and fired in a Conor Hourihane corner to give his side all three points.
The highly entertaining encounter saw the hosts temporarily leave the relegation zone, while Arsenal’s quest for the Europa league was dashed.
With the result, the Gunners remain 10th on the Premier League standings with 53 points from 37 matches.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed that he is enjoying the full backing of the club owner Stan Kroenke after his side’s slim defeat to struggling Aston Villa.
