Former Manchester United striker, Louis Saha, has predicted that Edinson Cavani will inspire the Red Devils to dominate in the Premier League if he eventually joins the Old Trafford club.
Cavani is expected to arrive in England on Sunday, as he closes in on a move to Man United.
The 33-year-old Uruguay striker will sign a two-year contract at Man United.
But Saha believes Cavani would be a ‘top signing’ for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
“I thought Christmas was December,” Saha wrote in a post on his Twitter handle on Saturday night.
“Cavani is a top signing.
“Goalscorer and a huge source of energy inspiration. Man Utd will dominate transition cause of his work rate.”
Cavani is a free agent after spending seven years with Paris Saint-Germain.
