NLC Members Stage Protest At CAC Headquarters

Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have staged a protest at the Corporate Affairs Commission’s (CAC) Headquarters.

These members of the union arrived at the premises in buses and upon their arrival, they occupied the main entrance of the CAC headquarters as they chanted songs of solidarity.

These members also held placards saying it is their right to protest and their rights will not be trampled on.

The protest is expected to last for three days and it was led by NLC Chairman, Ayuba Wabba.

Some of the words being chanted were;

“You cannot do that; you cannot undermine workers’ rights. We are just warming up, tomorrow, we will be here again.”

These members have staged the protest because of what they have alleged to be anti-labour matters, and they are accusing the CAC management of clamping down on union members who challenged anti-workers policies.
