Second Republic lawmaker, Junaid Mohammed had died. He passed away at 73.
Reports suggest that he died at an isolation centre though he didn’t test positive for the deadly coronavirus. Suleiman, his son affirmed the demise.
According to him, Junaid died on Thurdsay, February 18 after battling with a short illness.
Until his death, Junaid was one of the founding members of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) in 1976 under the regime of the late Aminu Kano. Also, he was the national deputy chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) in the north-west.
