Popular Nigerian producer and Marvin boss Don Jazzy, has slammed Nigerianswho ignore Nigerian celebrities and follow foreign celebritites.
According to him, Nigerians don’t support their local celebrities but like following foreign celebrities on Instagram.
Lamenting about the situation on Instagram, Don Jazzy says Nigerians should learn to support each other in order to grow the Naira.
He wrote; “Some will be like I don’t follow Nigerian celebrities with pride sef. This following of a thing no be say we Dey pay for am o. I just feel like we can support more. Buy Nigeria grow the naira. With the numbers we have we can be having some interesting conversations globally if we get all the support we can get. I’m just saying sha. I come in peace.”
Responding to Don Jazzy’s video, a fan says most Nigerians don’t support their celebrities on social media because most of the local celebrities hardly follow their fans back.
Countering the fan’s claim, Don Jazzy says he follows some Nigerian celebrities like Burna, Genevieve and D’ Banj but they don’t follow him back but his following them to support them in his own little way.
