Consequent upon the recent formation of the school’s governing council, the National President of Alumni, Mr. Bashir Shittu Olaleye has been appointed as a Member of the highest decision making organ of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State and the Council has since resumed her responsibilities.
Governing Council of any institution is responsible for the legislation of policies that – give direction and control to the Executive Management on the day-to-day running of the institution.
Mr. Bashir Shittu Olaleye who has ever since the genesis of his administration, pledged delightful loyalty to the alumni, has not relaxed his desire to bring the school’s alumni body to greater heights of excellence.
The President also calls on all members of the alumni association to assist him with developmental ideas, opinions and strategies that can rejig the status quo, and render the representation of the alumni in the Council more worthwhile than before.
These developmental ideas, advice and opinions from alumni members, will go a long way, enhance good representation of the alumni in the Council, and foster sustainable development of our dear alma mata.
The President describes his recent upliftment as another golden opportunity to give back to the school, as usual. And according to him, “We must continue to aspire for greater alma mata, and continue to ensure that the right decisions are taken at the right time“.
