Manchester City extend their Premier League lead with a convincing win over Leicester City, despite the Foxes giving the hosts a scare in the second half at the Etihad Stadium. City dominated the first 45 minutes, scoring four goals thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez, Ilkay Gundogan, and Raheem Sterling. However, goals from James Maddison, Ademola Lookman, and Kelechi Iheanacho pulled the visitors to within a goal of Pep Guardiola’s side. Aymeric Laporte scored a key fifth goal to put the game out of Leicester’s reach, and Sterling added his second three minutes later to seal the win.
