Two Nigerians are currently in the custody of the police in Cambodia.
These two men were nabbed by the Anti-Cyber Crime department of the Cambodia Police over an alleged online scam.
The names of these two Nigerians are Kingsley Obinna Nweazura, 26, and Emma Eke Onyechere, 26.
They have allegedly duped several people on social media by using false identities and this was confirmed by the National Police chief, General lieutant Neth Savoen.
According to the Police chief, these two Nigerian were arrested after receiving several complaints were received from some of their victims.
In his subsmission, he said;
“Please don’t accept friend requests from people that you don’t know, and don’t trust any scammer who claims to send stuff from overseas and they demand the shipping fee in advance.”
