A costly mistake in the 40th minute from Dier however, allowed Salah to double the score. It was all Tottenham in the second-half, and Conte’s men had chance after chance to score. The scored one in the 70th minute with substitute Kulusevski making an instant impact, poking the ball to Kane, whose cleverly finished at the tight angle. They continued to get at Liverpool’s backline, and had plenty of close calls, but ultimately were unable to find the equaliser they needed, leaving Liverpool to leave North London with all three points.
